Up until midday, in the early hours of Thursday, the weather
at Cape coast, the university campus not excluded was as sunny as any normal
day. Afterwards, there were signs of heavy downpour of rain which started with
raindrops. The drop seized for a while and what followed was the heavy downpour
of rain accompanied with storms. Huge branches of trees along the path of roads
leading to lecture theatres, offices and halls were brought down by the storms
onto the roads. The roads were blocked by these branches preventing cars from
moving to and fro. These lead to cars diverting to long route to get to their
destination. The trouble didn’t last though as labourers cleared the roads and
made sure the roads were easily accessible.
