A first year pupil at the University of Cape Coast Junior High
School, Master Lord Awingur Mba has been adjudged the second runner-up
of the 2015 edition of the Indomie Spelling Bee competition held at the
Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Osu, Accra.
Lord Mba competed with 82 other spellers from around the country to
emerge second runner up. His prize included products from Indomie,
Muscatella and Type; GH¢1000.00 Ecobank Junior Savings Account; a Bronze
Medal and a Certificate of Participation.
The Spelling Bee is a literacy programme that teaches children how to
improve upon their spellings, vocabulary and also develop English usage
which will help them all their lives.
The fraternity of the University of Cape Coast congratulates Lord
Awingur Mba and the teachers of the University Junior High School for a
splendid performance.
Mba, we are so proud of you.
